Our history

 

 

 

Our story starts in 2016 as a branch of the old family farm. Today the company led by Luca has about 10 hectares of vineyards

completely grown in certified organic farming .

 

We strongly believe in the connection between wine and territory and for this we have chosen to focus on Derthona 100%  Timorasso and Monleale 100% Barbera, two symbolic wines of our hills.

We immediately became part of FIVI , the Italian federation of independent winemakers, we believe in this project that brings together all the small winemakers of Italy, whose intent is producing typical, authentic and original wines.

The Colli Tortonesi

The colli Tortonesi , where we are located, are a hilly zone of ​​lower Piedmont, between Lombardy and Liguria with an altitude that starts from 170m and reaches almost 500m.

 

The colli Tortonesi are mainly divided by 3 rivers that forms the 3 three valleys, Val Curone, Valle Ossona and Val Grue, where our company is located. The Tortona hills have a very long wine history, which has its roots in vines such as Barbera, Croatina and Dolcetto for the reds and Cortese, Favorita, Moscato and, last but not least, Timorasso for the whites.

 

The rediscovery of this ancient vine, Timorasso, has undoubtedly rediscovered all its riches: a territory to discover, visit and savor, where the many food excellences, such as Salame Nobile del Giarolo, Pesca di Volpedo, the white truffle of San Sebastiano, the Montebore cheese, the "Bella" Cherry of Garbagna, the Scented Strawberry and the Pane Grosso di Tortona ... find a happy match in local wines.
